1. Data you put into the tool
Everything you upload or type into the visualizer — your Google Timeline (location history) file, hand-made JSON, birth month, residency history, life events — is processed only inside your browser. This site never sends or stores that data on a server.
Turning coordinates into country and region names is done locally against boundary data downloaded to your browser; no reverse-geocoding API is called, so your location coordinates never leave your device in any form.
"Copy share link" encodes only the aggregate result (time per place, date range) into the URL, never the raw coordinates. Sharing the link still shares that summary, so take care.
2. Access logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may collect standard logs (IP address, user agent, request time) for security and traffic statistics under its own privacy policy.
3. Cookies and advertising
The site currently sets no analytics cookies of its own. If Google AdSense ads are added later, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. This section and a consent banner will be updated when ads go live.
4. External resources
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves a request from your browser to Google's servers.
